The ‘Merican Mule Variety Pack is the perfect way to throw your own party anywhere you want.
Canned cocktails are a great alternative to the highly alcoholic drinks one might find at a party. The cans themselves are small, portable, and easy to carry around without worrying about breakage.
The popularity of canned cocktails is growing as more and more people find the simplicity of being able to mix up their own drinks with only a few ingredients instead of having to carry around large bottles and shaker tins.
Enough of the obvious practical advantage of cocktails in a can.
The ‘Merican Mule Variety Pack’ features a selection of three outstanding mules: the original Moscow mule, which is based on vodka, the Mexican tequila mule, and the all-American bourbon mule. Three unique canned cocktail flavors to satisfy even the most discerning tastebuds.
Mule food pairing
To be clear, sipping a Moscow Mule on an empty stomach can lead to a less-than-pleasant evening. But did you know that what you eat with your Moscow Mule can also make for a great and memorable experience?
Despite the fact that I am no longer professionally cooking, I’ve been an Italian food professional chef for almost twenty years, and I’ve cooked all over the world, from London to Milan to Sardinia, yeah baby…and enough talking about me.
Here is the thing, to pair your mules from the ‘Merican mule Variety pack you just need to pair the ingredients.
The Moscow mule:
What’s in it? ginger and lime with vodka (which is a neutral flavor) Ginger and lime (or lemon grass) goes very well with Asian food, especially Thai. Great with grilled or steamed shrimp with lime and ginger. There you go, it even works as a hangover cure in case you decided to really dive into the world of canned cocktails the night before.
The Mexican mule:
We are talking Tequila here amigos, and everybody south of the north pole knows what that means, spicy jalapeño guacamole, and mini tacos, and please be careful because this is an addictive combo.
“Carnitas tacos” are a perfect match for this mule, but in my own experience, each time I drink a ‘Merican Mexican mule, the beaches of Tulum in the Yucatan peninsula flood my thoughts and those shrimp mini tacos at the taqueria which I think I’m not allowed to mention by name here, directly on the turquoise beach of Tulum, make my regular day a phenomenal one.
The Bourbon mule:
A broad variety of sweet, smoky, or spicy foods go well with bourbon. Try some grilled crispy duck or pork belly skewers if you’re feeling fancy. Even roasted red onions or bell peppers. If you’re drinking bourbon, you’ll want to seek for that smokey flavor. Even some traditional crispy bacon would work wonders there.
We’ve given you some pointers on how to throw your own party, how to mix your mule with tasty cuisine, and how to make the most of your time with friends. But most importantly, we’ve shown you how to have a wonderful time responsibly.
